This self paced online course is approved by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles, American Safety Inc. is the approved sponsor. (Sponsor #028) The New York Point Insurance Reduction Course (PIRP) is a comprehensive driver safety course that will provide you with the knowledge and techniques for safe, lawful driving and a 10% discount on your auto insurance over a three (3) year period. You may also be eligible to reduce up to four (4) points on your driving record (in the event you accrued 11 or more points.)
